Mark Engeberg, CEO

Mr. Engeberg serves as CEO at Curcumin Pet Foods, LLC where he focuses on raising capital, business strategy, development and operations. Prior, Mr. Engeberg formed Mount Vernon Interests, LLC that invested in a biomass company which was later sold for $20 MM. Prior, Mr. Engeberg founded SunMark Energy, LLC solar company that “paper” developed 100 MW of solar projects in California and sold to other developers. Prior, Mr. Engeberg founded 3G Solutions, Inc. which managed 300+ telecom sites, which he later divested to another tower company. Prior, Mr. Engeberg was the acquisition manager in charge of the eastern region of North America for Motorola’s cell tower organization. Prior, Mr. Engeberg worked as a commercial real estate broker while at Lincoln Property Company and Portman Holdings; and has managed and leased several million square feet. Mr. Engeberg is a graduate of the University of Maryland, BS - Finance.

 


Aaron Lubowitz, President


Aaron Lubowitz is the President of Curcumin Pet Foods, LLC, where he focuses on business strategy, operations, and capital raising. Prior to his tenure at Curcumin Pet Foods, Mr. Lubowitz founded Alternative Capital Partners, LLC (“ACP”), a private investment and advisory firm based in New York.  ACP has raised or invested in over $500MM of both early and late-stage private equity capital for real estate, energy, and industrial-based projects and companies.  In 2014, Mr. Lubowitz served as the Chief Operating Officer at United Wind, Inc., a premiere start-up distributed wind development company based in Brooklyn, NY.  In his role as COO, Mr. Lubowitz was responsible for all of UW’s capital markets related activities.  Mr. Lubowitz was formerly Managing Director and Global Co-Head of the Global Structured Products group at Morgan Stanley, where he worked for seventeen years.  Mr Lubowitz built Morgan Stanley’s affordable and public housing tax equity business, its historic tax credit business, its New Markets tax credit business and later helped to found its renewable energy investment business, collectively which grew to over $5BN in transactional size by 2009.  While at Morgan Stanley, he served as a director on Boards of several prominent companies such as Brightsource Energy and FirmGreen Energy.  In the mid-2000s, Morgan Stanley, under Aaron’s leadership, was one of the first institutional equity investors in a startup called SolarCity, today far and away the largest publicly traded residential solar developer in North America.  Mr. Lubowitz is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), having earned such credential in 2004.  Mr. Lubowitz graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with distinction as a Joseph Wharton Scholar.

 


Douglas Gordon, Chief Counsel


Mr. Gordon serves as Chief Counsel at Curcumin Pet Foods, LLC; and the Law Offices of Douglas Gordon; and Mount Vernon Interests, LLC. Prior, Mr. Gordon spent 17 years with Celanese Chemicals, a multi-billion dollar international chemical company headquartered in Dallas.  During the last ten years of his tenure with Celanese, Mr. Gordon was vice president and general counsel of the company, and an integral member of the corporate management team with responsibility on a global basis for the company’s legal affairs.  Prior to Celanese, he practiced in large law firms in Dallas and New York City.  Mr. Gordon earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor degree from the Columbia University School of Law.
